ISDE 2009
Welcome
Finally the Wellard Women’s 2009 ISDE has come to an end and the team members have gone their separate ways back to the parts of Australia from which they came. If we look at the fine achievement the Wellard Women produced it makes all the blood, sweat and tears worthwhile. We came to Portugal on a mission with three talented young women and fought the harsh conditions and issues that can arise at the biggest off road motorcycle event in the world.
We brought with us the most reliable bikes in the world that never let us down, a spirit that would not take no for an answer and unrivalled support from a great man and his company. To compete at a world class event and stand on the podium is special. To be the first in your country is history!!
We hope you have enjoyed our 2009 adventure in Portugal as we have tried to keep it as up -to -date and interactive as possible for everyone who could not be there with us. Wellard is extremely proud of what our girls have done this year and we must now cast our eyes to the future and make plans as Mexico 2010 is less than twelve months away.
