Team Rider Profiles

Wellard Yamaha Team riders were selected on a number of criteria.

They had to be young riders, who were committed, who were passionate, and most important of all, who were fast.

Jacqui Jones

Favourite food: Pasta, anything really!

How long you have raced: 7 years

Biggest influence: My Dad

Greatest Achievement in life: Lots of moments, most recent would be getting picked in the ISDE squad

If I had one wish: Win the lottery!

No one knows: I used to play in a Jazz band (guess they know now!)

 

Alison Parker

D.O.B: 24/04/77

Nickname: Ally P

Birthplace: Kogarah (Sydney) NSW

Bike you ride: Yamaha WR250F

Favourite food: Thai stir fry and rice

How long you have raced: 10 years

Biggest influence: Chad Reed, who believed in himself at such a young age and followed his dreams.

Greatest Achievement in life: Being the fastest female at the 2006 ISDE by more than 44 minutes.

If I had one wish: I would live on a huge property with many houses, where all of my friends and family lived too.

No one knows: That none of my family are into motorcycles! I have encouraged my younger brother, who at times has had a bike, however most of my family don't even know what it is I actually do!

Favourite food: Watermelon and Mashed Potato

How long you have raced: 6 years

Biggest influence: Kirk Hutton and my Dad

Greatest Achievement in life: Getting on Australia’s first Women’s Trophy Team; Wellard’s Australian Women’s Team

If I had one wish: I’d wish for a time machine

No one knows: I used to play the flute and want to be in an orchestra as a career.

 

Lana Stiller

Nickname: LJ

Birthplace: Mackay, QLD

Bike you ride: WR250F

Favourite food: Homemade lasagne

How long you have raced: Locally since 2006, first national race 2009

Biggest influence: My husband Brent

Greatest Achievement in life: So many to choose from... graduating, getting married, finishing the A4DE, being chosen for the ISDE squad

If I had one wish: Win the lotto….I could fulfil lots of dreams with some extra money...

No one knows: I am an occupational therapist, and I work with children with disabilities.
