This is the most organised team of supporters and helpers I have ever had backing me. With the launch down Queenstown making me feel like we have heaps of support from the people back home and the crew making this trip possible. I’m amping to get over to Mexico and can’t wait to put in some top times right through the six days.
Cheers,
Adrian

It’s been an impressive start to the ISDE in Mexico, from the time I got a call from Peter Payne of Yamaha New Zealand to meeting Mauro and Peter at the launch of the Wellard’s Yamaha Team in Queenstown.
I am rapped to have been asked to be part of the team, and with riders of the calibre of Adrian, Adam and Karl, believe we have every chance of making this a successful event.
The team from Wellard’s have brought a professional approach which will hold in great stead for the ISDE. Nothing has been left to chance and every detail has been well planned.
It is not our chance as New Zealand young guns to prove ourselves at the highest level in Enduro riding, and I for one am really looking forward to the opportunity.
Cheers,
Rory

So far the impression I have got from the Wellard crew is that organisation is the key. The Queenstown ISDE launch was a great evening to meet some of the people behind the Wellard’s group and to get a feel for what this trip is going to be about.
Things have been in the planning since early March and it’s almost crunch time. We will leave on the 25th of October to start the long journey to Morelia, Mexico.
Once we get there, the whole town will be fizzing with excitement over the ISDE and I’m glad to be apart of the Wellard’s ISDE team to get amongst it and mix it up.
The count down is on. I hope Mexico is ready for us!
Cheers,
Karl

My Wellard’s ISDE Team experience to date has been great I’ve got a good group of people around me from my teammates through to the team personnel.
Everyone is friendly yet very professional and well organised. I’m looking forward to arriving in Mexico and continuing the experience.
Cheers,
Adam

I was just plodding along at work, looking forward to a few days off the following week when I received the call asking if I’d be interested in going to the 2010 ISDE in Mexico to assist the New Zealand team. Well, my heart started racing. I had always wanted to ride the ISDE but never had the funds. Although, I won’t be racing, I feel privileged to be assisting the New Zealand team.
Enduro racing has always been my passion, having grown up on a farm in South Africa always looking for a hill to climb. I would have to leave in 10 days, and I didn’t even have a passport yet. So now the race is on to get organised in time.
Cheers,
Quinten
