Overview

Through its production-focussed subsidiary, Wellard Agri, Wellard is meeting demand for food safety, food security and food demand from a growing, and increasingly wealthy global population.

An impressive property portfolio of 33,363 hectares of prime farmland owned and located throughout Western Australia’s vast agricultural landscape provides the healthy growing conditions for Wellard’s large scale and efficient production of grain, wool, live sheep, sheepmeat, cattle, beef and legumes.

In addition Wellard Agri also farms another 15,000 hectares under long term leases.

The combination of Wellard Agri farms and our trusted commercial partners are integral in the development of a global soft commodities business through vertical integration, controlling the process from “paddock to plate” to ensure food safety and security.

As part of its commitment to agriculture Wellard Agri owns the Hyfield Poll Merino Stud. Hyfield provides genetics to farmers across Australia for the breeding of commercially-focused, large framed, heavy cutting Poll Merino sheep.
