Wellard: From Global Livestock Shipping to Capital Stewardship 

Wellard has a long history in the global livestock industry, having grown from a local Western Australian livestock trading business into a recognised operator of purpose-built livestock vessels and an ASX-listed company. For decades, Wellard transported quality livestock to global markets, supporting producers, exporters, and importers with a strong focus on animal welfare and innovation in vessel design.

In August 2025, with the sale of its final vessel, the M/V Ocean Drover, Wellard concluded its livestock shipping operations.

While Wellard is no longer an active operator in the live export supply chain, the Company remains proud of its heritage and its role in shaping welfare standards and supporting the global livestock industry. Going forward, Wellard subject to Shareholder and ASX approval will delist and become an unlisted public company.
