Shareholder Communication Options
Legislative changes made to the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) effective from 1 April 2022 mean that there are new options available to shareholders to elect how to receive shareholder notices (such as meeting documents, dividend statements and annual reports).
- We will no longer send you physical meeting documents unless you request a copy to be posted.
- You can make a standing election to receive some or all of your shareholder notices in physical or electronic form.
We encourage you to provide your email address so we can communicate with you electronically when shareholder notices become available online.
To review or update your current communication preference, and to make sure your preferred email is correctly recorded, simply log on to our share registry’s website with your portfolio login details or your Shareholder Reference Number (SRN) or Holder Identification Number (HIN), and select the Communications tab at the top of the page.

Online Share Registry Facility
Shareholders can use the on-line share registry facility to quickly and accurately update their details or conduct standard shareholding enquiries including:
- Check shareholding balances
- Communication elections
- Update email and contact details
- Update bank account details
- Update Tax File Number / Australian Business Number notification
- Change of registered address
- Print dividend statements

Become an e-shareholder
Wellard encourages you to become an e-shareholder. Physical post is increasingly slow and unreliable, and the cost of production and delivery of printed documents is expensive. The speed of electronic communications gives you more time to make decisions and provide instructions regarding your shareholding.
You can help minimise the costs of printing and mailing by electing to receive all shareholder communications (including notice of meetings, voting forms, statements and Annual Reports) electronically.
There are two ways Wellard Limited shareholders can elect to receive shareholder communications electronically:
- Register online – Use Wellard Limited’s on-line share registry facility
- Download form – complete the Communications Preference Form and return it to Wellard’s share registry
Security restrictions are in place to protect your holding. You will not be able to use the on-line Share Registry Facility to update your details if the value of your holding is over a certain amount.
If the share registry’s system does not allow you to update your details on-line, you should download the Communications Preference Form above, complete it, and physically post it to the share registry address shown on the form. We apologise for any inconvenience but note that this protects against third-parties from giving the share registry unauthorised instructions.
